Get dressed gala

Essence 60's choreographic aesthetics as shown in song "Do gala" (or Abeceda) from movie "Starci na chmelu" (Green gold)

There are several characteristics typical for graphic and film art of first half of 60'. Let's look at some of them with examples from typical song of that era.

I. halting of locomotion
One of the boldest attribute is halting of locomotion. There can remain unstopped motion on the background (yellow circles) for highlighting of halted people (blue rectangle).

II. reguisites
There are also halted and moving reguisites. Static ones (violet) are on the background of moving ones (turquoise).

III. triangular layout
Performers are typically arranged in order of triangles.

IV. general directions
Male element uses directions of camera and performers spacing from back-left to front-right while female element uses directions from front-left to back-right.
